READ ALOUD SCHOOLS DAY 2016
WORD Christchurch is thrilled to be able to announce that six of the finalists for the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults are coming to Christchurch for our Read Aloud Schools Day 2016.
These are FREE events for all schools - all you need to do is register!
Weds August 3rd
9.45-10.45am: Kate De Goldi, Sarah Johnson, Bob Kerr
11.30-12.30pm: Stacy Gregg, Steve Gurney, Maria Gill
The six writers will talk and read from their books in two sessions in the morning.
The sessions will be held in the Charles Luney Auditorium, St Margaret’s College, 12 Winchester St, Christchurch.
The writers will be available to sign books after the session.

The winners of the New Zealand Children’s Book Awards for Children and Young Adults will be announced on 8 August. What a great opportunity to hear from some of the finalists first hand!
